Tylenol

— Take three times a day 6 hours apart to raise the pain threshold

Ibuprofen

— Take 800 mg twice a day and 12 hours apart to reduce inflammation

Caveat

Don’t take any opioid medication during this 6-day period as it crudely blocks the normal pain signal.  This quick fix can lead to opioid addiction because of its miraculous but misleading result.
