Instructions for Changing the Spring for the GD GRIP 2

How to Replace Tension Spring

  1. Place the GD Parallel Grip on a flat surface where there is room for the pin to fall out. Using two books like me is a good way to try 😉
  2. The pin you will be removing is the one on the top. Its diameter is 3mm. Use a screw or a pick that matches the pin size and gently hit it with a hammer to pop it out.
  3. Remove the broken spring then replace it with a new one by hooking it from the bottom. Once you’ve placed the spring’s bottom hook, then align the top part of the spring. Simply tap the pin back in and you have a brand new GD Parallel Grip! 😁
