SHINGLES VACCINE: Many folks have asked about the safety of the Shingrix ingredient list…..

…As well as the adverse side effects that can occur after the Shingles vaccination.

The Health Coach

What follows is a published list of ingredients which is not all-inclusive.

The Shingrix vaccine consists of active medicinal ingredients (antigens and an adjuvant) combined with inactive ingredients (excipients) for stabilization and delivery.

Active Ingredients
  • Glycoprotein E (gE): A non-infectious, lab-made protein found on the surface of the varicella zoster virus.
  • AS01B Adjuvant System: A combination of two ingredients designed to boost your immune response to the vaccine:
    • QS-21: A natural plant extract from the bark of the Quillaja saponaria evergreen tree.
    • MPL (3-O-desacyl-4′-monophosphoryl lipid A): A purified, detoxified fat-like substance originally derived from bacteria.
Inactive Ingredients
  • Sucrose: A sugar used to stabilize the vaccine.
  • Polysorbate 80: An emulsifier that holds the ingredients together.
  • Cholesterol: A fat-like substance that forms the structure of the liposomes.
  • Dioleoyl phosphatidylcholine (DOPC): A lipid used in the liposomal structure.
  • Buffers & Salts: Helps maintain the proper acidity and environment for the vaccine:
    • Sodium chloride (salt)
    • Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate
    • Disodium phosphate anhydrous

As for the Poylsorbate 80, some studies link it to gut inflammation, and it can cause rare allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

As far as the aftereffects of the Shingrix vaccination are concerned, everyone should be aware of the following two general scenarios that can and do occur.

Then there is this much more serious scenario to be aware of:

mRNA biotechnology

There is a current shingles vaccine development program underway that is looking to incorporate the Covid-19 mRNA biotechnology in the future.  We would strongly advise all healthy clients and patients with comorbidities to steer clear of those vaccines, and not just the shingles one.  Here’s why:

COVID-19 Vaccine-Induced Injuries, Illnesses & Diseases according to the VAERS

The following chart of Covid-19 vaccine-induced disease and injury stats, according to the U.S. government’s own VAERS reporting system should dissuade everyone from receiving any type of mRNA vaccine.
